Drostanolone Enanthate
I am glad to state that I was able to use Masteron Enanthate before it was ever available on the underground market. The first underground lab that manufactured it informed me of its existence and gave me a batch before they began distributing it (at a dose of 200 mg/ml). I think it's a particularly fascinating version of the medicine since the concentration and ester length allow us to raise blood levels of the molecule to levels higher than with standard Masteron (propionate ester attached).
Drostanolone Enanthate is generated from dihydrotestosterone (DHT), but with the addition of the 2a-methyl group. As a result, it lacks the structural ability to convert to estrogen or progesterone. According to the literature, the 2a-methyl group has become a substrate for 3a-HSD (3alpha-Hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase) and maybe the beta version of this enzyme. This is beneficial since these enzymes help to neutralize DHT in several ways. They are in charge of turning DHT into a less anabolic hormone. They are also the reason why injectable DHT is not manufactured as an anabolic agent on its own.
Masteron has been used to treat specific types of breast cancer and has been shown to be reasonably successful. However, first to third generation Aromatase Inhibitors such as Letrozole from Nolvadex have essentially supplanted it. In at least one research, however, Masteron plus Tamoxifen outperformed chemotherapy in terms of creating immediate objective responses from patients. Another aspect of Masteron's property that is rarely discussed is the fact that it is a mild (but useful) anti-estrogen, which is why many of its "hardening" properties are likely and useful in preontest cycles. Masteron can actually impede the aromatization (conversion/metabolism) of other steroids into estrogen by interacting with the aromatase enzyme. Furthermore, Masteron appears to be capable of interacting with estrogen at the receptor location. This, I believe, explains the "hardening" feature, because when you have less estrogen in your system, you retain less water and appear tougher. People frequently claim that it "only works" because they have a reduced body fat percentage. And if you're not using many medicines that can aromatize (and you're using them in modest doses) or drugs that enhance the effects of estrogen (and here I'm thinking of the 19-nor family), then Masteron is probably all you need. Masteron Enanthate is especially useful for this purpose due to its extremely extended active life and reasonably stable blood plasma level.
In fat burning cycles, Masteron Enanthate is often well-curated with the long ester containing testosterone and Trenbolone Enanthate. And I usually pair it with something with a similar ester length.
The recommended starting dose for Masteron Enanthate is 400mgs per week, taken once every two days.
