NANDROLONE DECANOATE is an anabolic preparation that may be injected. Following injection, nandrolone decanoate is progressively released from the intramuscular depot and hydrolyzed to become nandrolone.

Nandrolone is used to treat osteoporosis caused by androgen insufficiency in hypogonadal men. It also causes the muscle cell to accumulate more nitrogen than it releases, resulting in a positive nitrogen balance. A positive nitrogen balance is linked with anabolism and allows for more protein assimilation.

As a consequence, there is a positive nitrogen balance and the protein building impact that goes along with it. The ester decanoate is a long acting molecule that gives this medicine a three-week delayed release duration.
